What is CareLedgerPro?
CareLedgerPro is a staff-facing client-money and petty-cash ledger for UK care providers. It helps trained admin and finance staff record, countersign, and evidence day-to-day resident-money activity in a single provider environment.
Is CareLedgerPro a family portal?
No. CareLedgerPro is staff-only. There is no family or resident login.
Does CareLedgerPro send invoices?
No. It is a ledger and record-keeping tool, not an invoicing or billing engine.
Does CareLedgerPro handle split funding across LA, NHS, and private?
No. Split funding is out of scope.
Is CareLedgerPro GDPR compliant?
CareLedgerPro is designed to support Controllers in meeting their UK GDPR obligations. Compliance is a shared responsibility and depends on how the Controller configures, uses, and governs the Service.
Is CareLedgerPro certified (ISO 27001 / SOC 2 / Cyber Essentials / DSPT)?
No. CareLedgerPro is not independently certified. We describe our controls openly on the Security page.
Does CareLedgerPro complete DSAR or erasure requests for us?
No. Controllers handle DSAR and erasure workflows. CareLedgerPro provides administrative tools to help you locate and remove records.
Is retention automated?
No. Retention and deletion are currently administrator-actioned in line with your own policy.
Is our data secure?
CareLedgerPro applies role-based access with row-level security, an append-only audit log, and staff-only authentication with leaked-password protection. Encryption in transit and at rest is provided by our hosting sub-processor. See the Security page for details.
How much does it cost?
We offer a single Standard plan at £49 per Care Service per month, with a 14-day free trial. Visit the Pricing page for details, or contact us to discuss enterprise needs.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes. You can start a free trial. Contact us and we'll help you get set up.
Who owns the data?
The care provider remains the data controller and owns all records. CareLedgerPro processes data strictly on your behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You can export records before closing your account. After closure, data is deleted by an authorised administrator in line with our Data Retention and Data Deletion Policies.
